MSN Community Chat Booster and Poll Maker
Fellow Managers, would you like to give your chat attendance a boost? The purpose of the community this page takes you to is to basically boost chatroom attendance and to promote interest in all of our MSN Groups. The poll and survey maker is our free gift to you for taking the time to read about and consider the program. You need not participate in the chat booster program to use the MSN community poll maker. Read on for details.
The program is simple. participating communities display the self-updating ticker shown below on their main page and use the Gateway as a common chat lobby. This enables enough chatters to gather at a common place to make a viable chat. Chatters can always go to their respective community chat rooms once enough arrive if they so choose. No manager approval is required to join the Gateway chat. A guest chatter can chat instantly. Nobody will wait in a slow or empty room. Pooling chatters from multiple MSN communities may be the solution. A link and/or copy of the homepage of each participating community is provided in the Gateway chat community if desired.
The ticker eminates from a server that I own. There are no hot-linking issues. You may copy-paste it as you please. Please do not spam with it or use it any way detrimental to anyone else's web surfing experience. It is intended to deliver chat information only and will be used only for the purpose of such. Please report any suspected violations of the above to the managers of Chat Central Gateway
What's in it for us?..... Simple. Windsong Realty has another avenue to get the word out about their website and the many great services they offer to people interested in buying or selling real estate in Northern Ohio. Participating MSN Groups get an opportunity to promote themselves and a chat lobby to jump start their own chats from.
Who is welcome? .. ... All MSN communities that are COC compliant and viewable by the public. Hate groups, porn sites and other "adult content" sites need not apply. The Gateway is a spin off of a news and politics group. Some of the strong opinions and the manner in which they are expressed may not be suitable for all audiences. If you have a community frequented by youngsters or those that may take offense, you may wish to pass on this or place a warning.
Scheduling a chat
If you would like to schedule a chat to be advertised on the banner, Read the terms of use and then use the forthcoming link to post a request in Chat Central Gateway. If you are a not a member just join. I will approve your membership ASAP and this link will be active and allow the post to go through. Make a note on the application and put your communities link in it so I know you are legit. Spammers have been a real pain lately. ASB & Gateway Community rules are very basic and equate to common sense and courtesy. One other thing...If you request a chat to be advertised, Give me time to post it and be there.
Polls and Surveys
Thanks for reading the above. Now, onto the polls. The poll maker generates surveys and polls specifically set up for your MSN group. They even have a second return link for a comments string within your community. They employ absolutely no spy or crudware. As stated above, you need not participate in the chat booster program, but you do have to join Chat Central to create polls and/or surveys for your community. The primary reason for this is to keep our server from being clogged up with polls that are in deleted or inactive groups.
